This car is delivered with the theft code deactivated and the customer has the option of installing his own code. If you don't have the correct code, then turn on car to ACC. LOC should show on display. Press and hold in presets 2 and 3 until three numbers appear. Write them down. Then press and hold the AM FM button until three more numbers appear. Write them down. With these six numbers, the dealer can call GM for your security code.

It's not a problem.

You're gonna have to pull out the radio, get the serial AND model #'s of it (write them down) and call your local Chevrolet dealership. Talk to someone in either the Parts or Service department and they'll get it for you free of charge.



Write the code down and keep it in the glove box for the next time your battery gets dissonnected.

it is possible to get the code free from your local chevy dealer if you are on good terms with them. getting anything free from a dealer is next to impossible
