connect it to the battery, thats how every one does it man. BUT, make sure you get the proper fuse for the power wire. this is very important because if at any time... for any reason.. something goes bad on the power wire, the fuse will blow and the car wont catch on fire.

you really only need one long wire *for the positive going from the amp to the battery* and a short wire that will be the ground for the amp. this gound wire is attached to the chassis of the vehicle. just make sure the spot you use is very clean, no dirt/oil and no paint. this is so the connection can be much better for a better performance from the amp.

and remember to hook the REM (remote) wire from the amp to the stereo been used. this wire is what allows the amp to turn on and off. basically, when the stereo is on, the amp turns on. and when the stereo is off, the amp is off.

its like a safety feature so your amp is not using the battery power while the car is off.

Run the big red power wire to the battery with a built in fuse. If your battery is still dying use a capicitor. Gd luck hope i helped.

hook to electric ignition then it turns on with the car (hopes this helps) it takes a little work and add a fuse (like a 60 or 80 in-line fuse) ((can get them at wal-mart))
