I just burned a cd of .wma format and I tried it out in my 2003 Eclipse Spyder Stock 6 Cd Changer. It didnt work and a error "E" came up on the screen. I took it out. Now It makes a sound when it changes tracks or cds. I never really noticed it before cause the radio was always up loud. Is This Normal?

This happened to me once....I have a 6 disk CD changer and I put a burned CD in....it said the same thing...E....it was because I had purchased the wrong kind of Cd's...so I got more from the store and re-burned...this time it worked...also, another time i got the message "CD ROM"...again, wrong kind of CD....I don't format my own disks.....and FYI, the ones that work best for me are JVC CD-R's....and as for the noise...I always here my changer switching Cd's (from the trunk) so I think that it is normal. If it bothers you, I am sure that they sell more expensive, higher quality changers that are more quiet.

Does your CD changer reads .wma format? You can check either on the manual or go in the manufactures website abd check.

When it changes cds, it is normal to make some sound but when it changes tracks, I'm sorry I can't help. But I don't think so.

it is maximum probable one in each and every of two feasible problems: a million) incorrect format -- is it burnt as a song CD? Does it have MP3 format song on it? Is the disc 'closed' after burning? What application did you employ to create the disc? 2) undesirable media -- be effective which you're utilising sturdy sparkling CDs. you are able to examine to make particular the format is right by capacity of putting the CD on your laptop and utilising the hit upon function to be sure what format the tracks are in (wav, mp3, wma etc.) in the event that they do no longer look to be in wav format, a commonplace CD participant won't know them. it is likewise entirely feasible that your vehicle CD won't study CD-R discs. are you able to play different abode burned song CDs on your vehicle?

does your cd-changer support wma format? usually you'll have to convert the audio into mp3 format if your changer will accept that or use windows media to burn your files and it'll convert them for you to standart cd format
