i hooked up some memphis door and back speakers. im almost positive I hooked them up right. but i could be wrong.
the speakers are brand new. and the dont put out hardly any bass, well they do but its kinda popy if you get what im saying.
is that because they need broken in?

another question.
how can you tell if you have the polarity switched and what harm can it cause.

Speakers don't need broken in, that's a myth.

Reverse polarity will only cause sound cancellations. No harm will will occur.

you won't get much bass from door speakers....if you send them low frequencies and turn the volume to high then the only thing you will get is distortion
