Go with the 0.5 OHM setting and just have the amp set correctly and you will have no worries. Robinson is a total novice and knows not what he is talking about. I am sending 225 watts rms to each of my 4 speakers, I have no problems at all except the 6X9's are about 5 years old and starting to die on me. Other than that no problems at all. You just need to know how to set your amp is all, and leave the bass boost off.

yeah sounds like it will be awesome for a truck. careful when wiring those subs though. that is a pretty big amp for those. what im getting at, is when you wire the subs, just make sure you don't wire them to 0.5 ohms and send 2000 watts through them and blow them out.go with the 4 ohm 700 watt rating from the amp and you should be alright as long as the subs aren't distorting or clipping

the subs are great, the amp is over rated
