I have had this hooked up b4 and had some trouble out of my car and had to disconnect because a "friend hooked up my amp but screwed everything up. After having my car fixed and getting it back, come to find out the stereo wouldn't come on. I have re-connected wires and all have good connection but the only wires that were ever messed with were the light solid ble wire that came with the amp kit, the "light blue" with white striped wire on the harness for stereo, a dark blue/white stripped wire from the car and a solid blue from the car. Below is the way it was connected at different times.
!st- Didn't have amp and think the light blue/white wasn't connected
Dark Solid Blue- Don't remember it connected to stereo harness
HERE IS HOW AMP WAS HOOKED UP BUT NEVER CAME ON AND HAD PROBLEMS WITH SOUND IN SPEAKERS
1.SOLID BLUE REMOTE WIRE FROM AMP CONNECTED TO A SOLID BLUE COMING FROM CAR HARNESS NOT STEREO. THE BLUE WIRE FROM CAR ALSO HAD ANOTHER BLUE BESIDE IT RUNNING INTO A SEPERATE HARNESS ON THE CAR. THE BLUE THAT MY "FRIEND CONNECTED" HE SAID WAS ALL ALONE JUST HANGING THERE SO HE CONNECTED IT TO THE REMOTE WIRE. NOW MY CAR IS RUNNING RIGHT AND THE BLUE WIRES THAT ARE SIDE BESIDE ARE NOW BOTH INTO THE SAME HOLE RUNNING INTO 2 WIRING HARNESSES FROM THE CAR NOT THE STEREO. SORRY 4 THE CONFUSION BUT MY FRIEND TAPPED INTO A WIRE HE SHOULDN'T HAVE THERE I BELIEVE
With the AMP connected with the blue wire that came with the amp kit to the solid blue from the non stereo harness then there was the light blue/white striped from stereo harness to the DARK BLUE/white striped from the car connected.

So now I've got both of the light and dark blues with white stripes disconnected along with the remote wire from the amp. All I wanna do at this point is to hook up my stereo harness to just the car harness with no remote wire connected to the stereo harness BUT WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHICH WIRE THE REMOTE WIRE FOR THE AMP GOES TO ON THE HARNESS. Is it light blue with white stripe on the harness that the remote wire connects to from the amp? Or do the light blue/white stripe connect to the dark blue with white stripe from the car?
Sorry guys for all of the confusion. I wish I had just done this myself and none of this would have happened. My car wouldn't start or anything since he hooked up the amp. But it will now that those blue wires are back in there proper place. (The Blue was connected to the remote wire of the amp to the car not stereo harness)
PLease Help guys. Like I said, Every other wire is connected to the same color wire from the stereo harness to the cars harness.
Whats throwing me is the damn light and dark blue with the stripes. Shouldn't they both be one color or the other LIKE- LIGHT BLUE/WHITE STRIPE+ LIGHT BLUE/WHITE STRIPE Instead of LIGHT BLUE/WHITE STRIPE+ DARK BLUE/WHITE STRIPE
AND PLEASE TELL ME WHICH MY AMPS REMOTE WIRE CONNECTS 2.
*ALSO* My actual antenna outside the car has never has raised up that I know of but has always made a noise but now it doesn't even do that!

**** I DON'T KNOW IF ITS THE CONNECTIONS BUT LIKE I SAID MY STEREO WILL NOT EVEN COME ON. DO YOU THINK THE RESET BUTTON COULD FIX THAT? IT BEEPS WHEN I TURN THE KEY OFF....

Assuming you do NOT have the BOSE sound system in your car lets break this down.

It is actually much more simple than you are making it out to be.

The Blue with White stripe wire coming out of your PIONEER is your power antenna and amplifier remote turn on lead.

It needs to go to TWO places.

A. The Blue with White stripe on the CAR wiring harness. (for you power antenna).

B. The Blue wire coming FROM your amplifier.

That is it.

Let me know if you need further help.
