car cd player wiring?

hi ive got a k reg ford fiesta xr2iand ive just bought a kenwood cd player to install in my car but i cant seem to do this ... my car wiring has the following wires speaker wires seperate and 5 other wires obviously for my power ect... i have a red a yellow 2browns and a (grey green clour) and my sterio has a red a yellow a blacka orange and a blue but i just cant figure out which one goes to which could you please help me out that would be great thanks :)

Not sure which kind of ford fiesta you have whether it be old or new but if it is a newer one they sell wiring harnesses to prevent you from having to cut the harness. DO NOT CUT WIRES!!! They cost no more than 10 dollars at wal mart. If it is a old fiesta you might not be able to find a wire harness for it so cutting may be necessary...I'd imagine you are talking about a newer one and are in a different country than the United States as they don't make those here anymore...An aftermarket wiring harness would be way easier and eventually cheaper option to your idea of cutting into the harness...but to each his own...

for most aftermarket stereos, usually the yellow is for constant battery power (12V), the red is for ACC power and black is always ground. Your car will have its own specific wire colors...google a wiring diagram for your make and model, or just the color codes for your car. your kenwood operator manual should tell you the corresponding colors for the cd player (i.e. power, speakers, etc.). just match them up! hope this helps!

DON'T cut any wires in the car.



You can get an adapter harness form here http://www.metraonline.com that gets wired to the CD player and you just plug it in to the factory harness.

they are real. you are able to no longer purely hook up a automobile participant to a wall socket. automobile gamers use DC electrical energy. Your wall provides AC electrical energy. in case you hook it as we communicate up your CD participant would be accomplished for, and could seize on hearth or explode.
