yeah so i had the stock set up until my volume button broke off the top part with the tape deck on it, and i would have cost like 400 dollars from ford to get it replaced. so i had best buy install a new unit with a flip down screen. it is working good but the problem is that the balance is messed up. when i fade to just my front speakers and switch from left to right, the right sounds great but the right sounds like there is almost nothing there. when i do that to the back both sides sound great. i know that the speakers arnt blown cause i switch the left to right on all the speakers and the problem still happend, and same with the amps. i know the left amp controls the front and the right controls the back. so i am thinking it has to be something that is inbetween the amp for the fronts, and the fronts themself. any one else have this problem or know how to fix it!?!? if not, does anyone have an aftmke head unit that works great and what kinda is it!?!?!?

the wire harness that best buy used to integrate into the factory mach amplified system is the problem. i started out installing for best buy and i would always see that same problem when using the wire harness that they used. the problem is in the harness itself. the pins don't make a good connection which results in your loss of sound. to fix it and do it the right way you will need to bypass the factory amps. i usually charged around 50 - 75 dollars to do it. bypassing the amp in the car is easy but they will have to go to each speaker in the door and rear deck to connect the wires. there are three seperate amps with all of their own wiring. one is for the highs and two for the lows. its too much to explain on here on the specifics. they should know what they're doing but then again best buy will hire any yo yo to install. they do warranty their work so just bring it back. i have gotten some of them to work with the way you have it set up now but i wouldn't count on it. if you are bypassing the amps you might as well change out the speakers at the same time. they may cut the price of the amp bypass since they will have to go into the doors to change the speakers anyway. if you are anywhere near me i could do it for you the right way and for cheaper.

Did Worst Buy, I mean, Best Buy, do your speaker wiring as well? If they did, you could always take it back to them and have their "pro" installers fix the problem. Otherwise, save yourself 4-6 hours and check it out yourself. You probably just have the neg and pos wires crossed up to either your amp or your speaker. While you're at it, double-check the rear speaker wiring as well. GOOD LUCK!!!

they're observed as line out convertor's you splice off the speaker cable to your rear audio gadget and it makes 2 rca's (+ -) and you possibly can use the speeaker cable. Taking it to a keep is the worst concept, the belief of persons messing with my vehicle makes me ill (and ipersistent a POS!) how are you able to have confidence everybody at present?? Human decency has long previous by potential of the wayside.
