big 3 upgrade questions..?

yes i understand what the big 3 upgrade is.. issue is what i know is that u are replacing the power to positive wire on the battery to alternator.. I DONT HAVE THAT IN MY CAR! the wire from my alternator runs into the wire harness for my car.. then find its merry way to the battery.. i would like to leave the factory wire in it so do i add the 4 gauge or larger wire in as well? cause from my understanding that would boil my battery...

You want to leave the stock wiring alone, the Big 3 is adding to the existing wiring, not replacing it. Not sure what the current draw on your amps is, so I can't say if 4 AWG is enough for you, but it's enough for 150 or so amperes of current.
