I have some Kenwood 6X9s in the back running:
power range: 2-110 watts RMS (450 watts peak power)

Kenwood 4X6s in the front with
power range: 2-20 watts RMS (450 watts peak power)

and 2 Powerbass XS (PBX) 12" subs with
power rage: 800ish watts RMS (1600 watts peak power)

I know they're small speakers compared to the subs, but I'm not looking for a system so loud its gonna blow up all cars within a 1 mile radius.

Any and all tips and suggestions about the system (especially about an amp) would be very much appreciated.

I would get two amps. 1 for the subs and one for the 4x6 and 6x9's

I am not sure what budget you have allocated for this, but

Powerbass amp XAX 4160FD 4 for the 4x6 and 6x9

Powerbass XTA 1000D 1 ch Amplifier for the Subs

Dont know if your asking for a certain brand of amp or what type of amplifier. But,get a 5 channel amp... you can set the gain on the amp as high or as low as you want it and it also has a sub channel so you wont need another amp. 5 channel amps are more expensive than 4 channel amps but you will save money because u dont have to buy an extra amp for the sub and you dont have to pay extra for hooking two amps up at installation. I am the same way with my system...I dont want something setting of alarms but just a nice decent sound. I have a 5 channel amp and I love it.
