Which one is better at what? And should i get 3 way or 4 way speakers?

4x6's are not a speaker anyone would ever choose for the best sound quality. The only reason they exist is because a few car manufacturers only had room for a 4x6 where they wanted to put the speaker - and those occasionally need to be replaced by people that don't want to modify the panel.
I would expect most of the cheapest, lowest quality 6.5's would outperform most of the best quality 4x6's.
That being said --- the number of elements ("ways") a speaker has, has no significance at all in determining the quality/capability of the speaker. Actually, if you look at most high price, high quality coaxial speakers you'll find the vast majority of them are simply a woofer/tweeter (2 way) with a few 3 ways mixed in. The 4, 5 way (etc) speakers are reserved for the high volume/low quality mfg's that make very little effort to actually sound good.

You really want to go what fits unless you plan to upgrade your entire door panel. But if you want to choose, definitely go with 6.5 for louder clearer sound with mid-bass thump. 4x6's are generally used for counter-sound, almost like dome tweeters. I have done coaxial speakers ( speakers with center pieces attatched 3-way 4way) but I have found that component sets are better because of the nature you can move that tweet sound to your liking but once again if I had to choose I would go with 3 way and here is a couple Ideas ( copy and paste)
