typically if it is a new aftermarket radio; truthfully, i would run all fresh wire from the fuse box(power) to the radio. If it require a constant on for memory this way it is easier, ground should be short and not a flimsey wire. Pick a metal spot somewhere in the dash, remove any paint attache wire with a sheet metal screw. for speakers. If useing radio amp use 14-16 gauge wire, CHANGING factory speakers will be a big improvment.Or if you go with amps well just let you imagination go. ALL ways triple check ALL modification before you put power to anything. RESEARCH

try this link http://www.therangerstation.com/tech_library/EDiagrams/index.htm
if that does'nt help and you are putting in a new radio you can buy adapter plugs at most auto parts that will plug right up to factory ends

red is hot, yellow is constant, black is ground, if there is a blue, it's for the auto antenna, which you don't have, so don't fret over that.... the grey wires are for the speakers... they will have colored bands around them that may or may not tell you what speaker they control... it's been years since I've done it, I used to know what the colors meant.

12v-lt. green
Ground black
Ignition yellow/black
LF Speaker +/- blu/wht - orn/grn
RF Speaker +/- grn/orn - wht/grn
LR Speaker +/- gry/blu - tan/yel
RR Speaker +/- orn/red - brn/pnk
see if that works
