car radio/stereo code?

hi i recently bought a car from someone down the road, the radio in the car didnt work and i thort that it was broken but when i took it apart i realised it just wasnt plugged in, so i plugged it in and the screen asks for a code. i have looked through the book and it doesnt give me any code, i have a code 4 another radio and i expect that they took that radio out and shuvd a cheeper model in, but now i have no code? how can i obtain a code for my radio/ can i reset it so it doesnt need 1??? please help
oh btw the stereo/radio is a philips sc201

call the dealer and they should be able to tell you. or probably the easiest way is to buy a new radio and install it. i doubt you will be able to get the code but good luck anyhow

on the bonnet whilst open there would desire to be a black and silver decal with the colour code this is going to likely be a three digit code accompanied by a letter fot occasion 123/A if no longer below the bonnet it would be on the boot lid. or failing that decision up your community broking and ask them to confirm your reg on the famp gadget(for uk automobiles basically) no count if this isn't any longer on the famp gadget provide the broking your chassis quantity (the 17 digit quantity commencing zfa188 ect ect) and ask them to do a sigi and the broking could have the skill to furnish you your shade code from that gadget :). desire this facilitates
