Hi all im going to France in April and was wondering can you pickup Dab radio over there im staying near paris regards Anthony

Yes you can recieve Dab stations in france but you need a Aerial that covers band 3 & L band ie Blaupunkt bee sting dab aerial, Glass mounts wont work in europe.

I did hear some discussion very recently about a newer technology in the pipeline which already makes DAB obsolescent but will not make it actually obsolete for quite a number of years yet. The purists say the sound quality of DAB is not as good as FM but, frankly, I've had a Roberts DAB radio for about three years and find the convenience of not having to manually tune the stations, more than makes up for any (undiscernible to me) disappointment in sound.
