I need to install a Pioneer CD-RB10 auxiliary adapter into a Pioneer DEH-P250 head unit. I drive a 95 Honda Accord 4dr Sedan, my question is, where would I find instructions on how to remove the head unit in order to get to the back of it? Does it just depend on the way the deck is installed in the dash?

usually you can just slide it off with some force

but first:

1. Make the gear go down to first if automatic.

so the radio can freely exit

2. with some force pull it at the angle that it looks like it wont break etc..

3. unplug the wires from the back remember where teh go(to unplug make sure to do it straight so u won't damage anything

4. there u go,, plug everything in and your done..

ohh i suggest you run the other end of wire of the auxilary input to the glove compartment..if u dont have a setup done already..

this might help!!!

usually wont have to take off panels because it will just slide out!!!

See if you can get your hands on some Pioneer keys. They're basically 2 6" long, thin pieces of metal that slide in on either side of the radio, and unlock the radio from the mounting cage. They've also got a little barb that catches on the radio and slides it out.

If you cannot find any, knives work, but aren't as easy to use. You'll have to find a way to grip the radio to get it to slide out.

If you are not sure how to do it, you better go to an auto shop, or a larger store, like Best Buy. I'm sure they will give ya the right advise...
