Search iPod FM Transmitters on Yahoo! or Google...

My dad bought us one from Menards for $30... It works great...

By the way, they DO work without cassette players. They plug in through the cigarette lighter...

I love my iTrip Auto from Griffin. It plugs into my Nano 2nd gen, with the same Apple connection on the bottom, and charges it at the same time.

I can travel all across the state with very little interference, if any from the selectable FM channels. You just have to use the device to change songs, as you can't do it through the factory stereo controls.

You also have to crank up the volume with the factory stereo, as adjusting the vloume on the Nano does nothing, since it just serves as a "line out."

Check out www.newegg.com for product and reviews. Best Buy was much more expensive and Newegg rocks!

I found the best thing since sliced bread...http://www.crutchfield.com/S-9oDEWuNVIo6/cgi-bin/prodview.asp?i=142FMMOD01

It's not wireless so there's no interference. Not to be confused with an FM transmitter. Basically it adds an AUX input to ANY radio. No searching for a clean channel.

It feeds your audio signal from a headphone jack ( or RCA cables) by FM modulation, directly into the antenna input on your radio bypassing the antenna when on, allowing the radio to work as normal when off. It comes with an On/Off switch.

This is the answer. Totally versatile.

Get an auxillary cable or a fm transmitter. Auxillary has great volume! FM transmitters arent annoying though. Remember to blast music with your car, not your itouch or else you are draining useless battery life. I love blasting music, enjoy it!

if you have an auxillary outlet, then get an adapter and plug your ipod into that. if not, you can always get an FM transmitter to plug your ipod into. that will do OK but there might be some static. i dont have an auxillary but i do have an Fm transmitter. i think that the best quality is a Mosnter. it will both charge and play your ipod. general cost is around 75 bucks at staples.

THeres a unit, by Belkin, that jusst plugs into the ipod and the car lighter. From there you just tune your radio into the radio signal the unit is broadcasting your music on and voila.

get an FM transmitter. you plug it in on your earphone jack and turn it on and set your radio on a certain station (mine works best on 88.1) and set the transmitter on the same station and it plays! they're small...smaller than a computer mouse. they work great! just like try wal-mart or someplace like that.

In some cars, music can be controlled through the steering wheel using Peripheral Electronics' iPod2Car adaptor kit, an iPod can be thus integrated into many vehicles which wouldn't otherwise allow it. Virtually any vehicle that has a factory CD changer controller port on the stereo can be integrated with an iPod using this kit and the Dension iceLink seems to adapt quite a few cars. Adaptation, though not integration, can be obtained through the use of a cassette adaptor plugged into a vehicle cassette deck. This allows the vehicle to play the iPod's music, but not to control the iPod directly, such as the above mentioned methods allow.

Ok you bought that nice ride with the upgraded sound system but it doesn't have steering wheel controls and you don't want wires hanging all over the place. You thought "wouldn't it be nice to pipe my iPod through this baby". Another common method of adaptation to a car can be achieved by using an FM transmitter. These allow the player to broadcast an FM signal, playable by car radios. Some FM transmitters also integrate charging from a car's cigarette lighter or power outlet. There are quiet a few manufactures that offer these transmitters.
