I recently installed 2 15" Kicker subs in 2 SEALED boxes
and an OVN2-2200 - Power Acoustik 2 Ch. 2200 Watt Gothic Series 2009 Amplifier.

I have a 2001 chevy Prizmand I would like to know if my car handel that much power?
Will my battery die quick if I'm not driving?
What should I do to prevent my battery from dying?
Anything small I should make sure to know?
And did I get a nice setup?

I would have looked into this before I installed them but I got them for free and was too excited to test em out.

Its a good system. Ported box would of hit the lows better and louder.

You won't have to worry about your car dying with your system hooked up. Turned on its constantly keep your battery charged. Turned off, the whole car and system is off. if you have all stock electrical I wouldn't listen to it if the cars not turned on.

1000 watts rms is not a grip load of power, so you should be alright

How many watts are the kicker subs?

They will be perfectly fine unless you don't have enough power running to them and as far as your battery goes, I wouldn't worry about it because your alternator should be recharging the battery. BUT TO be safe only run the music for about a half hour at a time and turn the engine on just to be safe

I had a big alternator and two extra car batteries in my GS430. The car's computer would not allow the alternator to put out the extra amps (Common in Japaneses Cars). When my lights used to dim and my vaults got low when I was at a red light I would put the car in neutral and rev the engine a little bit, I got good at it after a while. When I was driving and the RPM's were spinning it was fine. You might want to invest in a bigger alternator if you have this problem. ALWAYS HAVE YOUR CAR RUNNING WHEN YOUR POUNDING THE SYSTEM.

Yea sounds like you got a great set up as far as killing your battery don't jump in and turn the key backwards...with no system should this be done especailly some 15's. make sure you crank the car even to just listen to it and a good idea to invest in would be a battery capaciter. also get ready for your trunk to rattle its *** off i got 2 15's in my jeep liberty and that thing rattles horribly i could only imagine a car. well hope i helped.
