I had my subs and amp and head unit working until I was driving down the road (kinda had it sitting in my dash in a ghetto way) and it turned off. Now I cant get my head unit to work nor the factory one. I even took it back wiring harness and all and exchanged it to no avail. Anyone know what it could be? 2001 Honda Accord LX

it is most likely a fuse..

You may have them under your dash, and under the hood. Check those out, and you will probably find your problem.

If not a fuse, then you have a broken or lose wire.

If you can not find a bad looking fuse, replace them anyway, because I have seen them go bad, and look perfectly fine.

Also, test that head unit out on your cars battery and see if it works with direct power. If it does work that way, then you know for a fact it is a wire or a fuse.

Could be a fuse in the car. Either in the fuse box or it could be an 'in-line fuse' Check all the leads you attach to the head unit and check you main fuse box. See if yourcar manual (if you have one) says anything about stereo fuses. Also check your interior lights work and your clock etc. Becuause some times the fuse for the stereo is the same as the clock and internal lights.. Thats happend to me before.

See if yourcar handbook (once you've one) says some thing about stereo fuses. also make certain your interior lighting fixtures furniture paintings and your clock etc. Becuause some circumstances the fuse for the stereo is an similar using reality the clock and inner lighting fixtures furniture.. Identify, Isolate, Eliminate

Check your fuses #1, then check your wiring #2
