I am hooking up some subs in my car, im gonna go with 2 12" Rockford Fosgate punch subs. I have semi decent speakers but i plan on buying ones that are better, but still i dont plan on spending alot on them.

My question is whether or not i should go with a 2 channel amp and only hook my 2 subs up to the amp, or if i should get a 6 channel amp and hook up all my speakers to the amp to increase the quality. Dont tell me its up to me because that doesnt help. Would (YOU) get the 2 channel amp or the 6 channel amp if u were sorta on a budget?

The number of channels an amp has does not dictate the number of speaker you can power. You can run 10 subwoofers off a mono amp if you want. You'll get more bang for your buck and more flexibility with a mono amp. A 1000W RMS Hifonics amp goes for like $125 shipped new. Though we need to know your subs before we can recommend a specific amp.
