Okay, i have two kenwood subs, an MTX sub, a two channel Kenwood amp (running to the two kenwoods) and a pyramid amp getting ready to run to the MTX.
Question #1) Where can i get a splitter type thing or like an expansion kit so i can power my two amps?
Question #2) I have a custom made box, is it smart to run the kenwoods on the top like normal, and the MTX on the front firing into the box? (There is a large port on the bottom part of the box)
Question #3) Is there any ideas or anything that you think would make this project better?

THANKS!

rockford fosgate and streetwires both make good amp kits to power 2 amps, your going to need a 0/1 gauge power wire and a dist block with a 120a fuse in it going to a splitter that will branch off into 2 4 gauge wires one going to each amp, and you should mix up brand names like that, pyramid amplifiers are TRASH just so you know,.. you should stick with either another kenwood or get an mtx amp.. for best results.. your pyramid wont be pushing that sub that great.. tbh you should have stuck with ALL kenwood subs and amps

The capacitor is made to be under pressure out in parallel with the amp. you're able to choose connection blocks or another technique of starting to be a secure connection to end this yet only connect the advantageous of the cap to the advantageous of the subwoofer amp and connect the destructive to the comparable floor factor because of the fact the subwoofer amp. it rather is it! The sub amp is the only ingredient that fairly desires the cap because of the severe power draw. Electrically the capacitor will nonetheless be under pressure out to each little thing interior the automobile because of the fact the advantageous to the amp and quickly to be cap is under pressure out to the advantageous of the battery.

Ok, question 1 answer, you need a distributor block, they can be found anywhere, circuit city best buy ebay. mount this under the drivers seat, run power from your battery to the cap, and then to the block from the cap, from the block run two power cables out to each amp. question 2 answer, shouldn't matter how you mount them, that way should be fine. question 3 answer, Yes, I would reccommend getting rid of the pyramid amp and getting something better, as the first guy said pyramid is terrible, or get rid of both amps, and get something that can push all 3 subs, and then get 3 of the same subs, (for this setup its better to have one big amp, or three smaller identical amps and three identical subs) so they won't disrupt the sound of the others. Maybe add some neon and a crossover, have you looked at Dynamat?
