VW Golf CD changer into an aux?

Question

Hi, i have a VW Golf and have recently been tinkering around with it and took the stereo out, already knowing i did not have a cd changer built in but the stereo has a cd changer button and on the back is a spare input which is for a 5 pin plug, i was just curious as too if there was a connection or cable that could covert this input into an aux input?.

You can buy receivers basically anywhere but I prefer Dukes Car Stereo .

You can buy online or at a local audio shop. There are many different styles, shapes, sizes, colors that you can choose from. Flip up monitor screens or your basic in dash receiver " aka head unit, cd player " and you can buy a receiver with a built in AUX port usually located on the front of your receiver... that you can hook your ipods into if wanted. Some come with USB ports as well.



You can pick up the right wire harness adapter there aswell that fits your vehicle

No u can't use ur cd cd changer controller conection for a aux in. U can get a decent new radio that will have an aux in right on the front for less than a 100 on eBay

1. In the menus of the system you may need to enable the Aux mode to have it come up as a choice in normal use. 2.It might select Aux mode only when something is plugged in by cycling the band or mode select switch until you get to it. Rest assured - there is a way and if it were in front of me I reckon I could do it. Cannot be specific without seeing one though.

Yes you can add an auxiliary audio input jack and interface, to most Volkswagen radios from 1998 an up ,

the audio adapter connects intot he external CD changer input and works with the same button
